W+CO designed renovations to 1,900 square feet of existing Pharmacology Laboratories on the third floor of the Old Veterinary Quadrangle, part of University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine. The project scope included demolition of the existing facilities and design of interior fit-outs to create new offices, laboratories and associated dedicated rooms. Casework and utilities were designed as part of the project, including a new air handler unit that accommodates program requirements for 100% exhaust and 100% outside air make-up. This project also created two Microscopy Laboratories, one with Faraday Electrical Shielding construction. Construction costs for the project were $300,000.
